In March I Will .....

I hope our dear Faith does not mind that I am restarting the "In [month] I will... " crochet-a-long.

She hosted these monthy CAL last year and they were so helpful to me in getting things done! I have not seen any for a couple of months so I am taking it upon myself to restart them to help those of us who need to work in small steps.

Join me this month in getting those WIPS done! Easter is coming !

In March I Will....

Make a prayer shawl for a coworker who needs a hug!

Make a bunny blanket (Lionbrand free pattern) for a baby due in May

I have so many things in the pipeline, this would be helpful in keeping me a little more organized and on track. So in March I will...

1. Finish the green doilyghan

2. Make two squares for the yellow lapghan

3. Finish the navy-melonberry lapghan

Forgot to add, during March every year, since my daughter and I were both born at the same hospital, my thanks to them is to donate something to the maternity ward, such as afghans, hats, etc. This time, I have serveral afghans, baby size, waiting and ready to go! Booties to match, and maybe by the time I donate them, (I usually go on my b-day towards the almost middle of the month, ha ha) I will have a few hats to match them as well! Just my way of saying not only thanks for me, but for my mom, and my daughter as well. Just something I do!

Awww! That is so sweet Katy.

I bought the yarn for the prayer shawl today. Found out the recipient likes green.

I am using the "Thursday Night"/Angel Wing shawl pattern from the 'ville.

Oh Debra, that's a bummer :(. I would go nuts if I couldn't crochet in the evenings.

So anyway here's my list. I'm starting a lot of new things as I have polished up a bunch that I just finished. What that means is the list will grow as I start stuff. :hook

In March I will:

1. Finish 1 more scrapghan for the VA. (It's 50% done right now.)

2. Finish the ripple shrug for a friend. (It's about 75% done and I'm waiting for her to get me a measurment so I can finish.)

3. Start new graphghan. (I'm still trying to make up my mind what to do).

4. Do another Navajo blanket. (I just finished one and it came out so well I'm going to do another for another friend.)

5. Finish up some more squares for the Friendship ghan CAL.

6. Finish my ami's for the swap.

I had to scrap the Angel Wings shawl. It just was not coming out like the pattern. USER ERROR I am sure! I will try Julee's pattern another time.

For now I have switched to one of the free Half Moon shawl patterns in Lionbrand's website. I have about five rows and the edging left to do.

:c9I will:

1) finish my granny CAL blankets for my neices: 1 done 1: 3/4 done :-)

2) Start & finish a baby blanket for a girl at work: Finished! :cheer

3) get a good start on NICU items for charity: 1 finished, 2 more started.

4) hopefully get a good start on the finish line of an afghan I started 10 yrs ago! YES I said 10 yrs ago and that is no typo.... I only have a few more rows and the edging to complete (hmmmmmm, I seem to have more fun with the baby blankets....this one still sits)

I"m still working on my ami's mostly. I think I'll dig out the scrapghan as soon as I'm done and try to finish that up. My scrap basket is getting out of hand.:lol

In March I will... change my mind. My original list was:

1. Finish doilyghan

2. Make squares for yellow lapghan. Going to frog. Don't like it.

3. Melonberry lapghan. Going to frog, use a new pattern.

So, starting over, in March I will:

1. Finish doilyghan - done

2. Start a new hospice lapghan

3. Start a new baby blanket

4. Frog all my unsatisfactory projects

5. Reorganize yarn

Here's the doilyghan:
