1) Finish Pinwheel doily in Christmas colors

2) Make a second doily like one completed for Cousin's bday gift

3) Make 2 more sachets for Christmas gifts

4) Make Thread Angel for Mom for Christmas gift

5) Work on Gingerbread House for myself

6) Work on 63 square afghan (38/63 so far)

7) Start on TB Bucs graph-ghan, if I ever receive the chart I ordered.

8) Make 3 mini stocking ornaments for kids

9) Start on scrap granny squares

I doubt I will get all that done in November, but it at least gives me some goals to accomplish, and the Christmas gifts do need to get mostly done in November =)

1 down already and it's not even quite November yet, woohoo! I'll post pics soon. My hubby can't stand all the bright lights so it will probably be Monday when he's at work =)

Now it's officially November. I just got a project done. :D

4. Do 10 tiles on my weight loss afghan (tunisian crochet). (DONE!) :check

The market bag is all knitted, the handles attached to the bag. But I still have to sew handles securely to the bag, and also weave the ends.

I also started a mystery dishcloth which should be done in 4-5 days. :blush

Tomorrow, I am going to work on mom's afghan. :yes

In October I had fun making a sweater and a blanket for grandbaby. I used a dishcloth pattern for the blanket and just kept going till it was the square size I wanted. Can't remember where I found the pattern but it really worked up quick.

#2 goal accomplished!

Hrm, now to work on sachets, angel or stockings. The angel frightens me, it will be a challenge for me. I've never done such a thing before. The sachets are easy, I already made one. I'm just stitching them for now. I don't want to make the potpourri pouches until much closer to Christmas and then just need to seal them up with ribbon. The little stockings I've made one before as well and they are quick and easy and oh so cute. I figure I will do them in different color schemes. I guess I could do a stocking, then a sachet, then tackle the angel... Of course if I do the angel now and it proves too difficult I can still have plenty of time to come up with a plan B. Especially knowing I can do the sachets and stockings easily enough.

I'm joining you for the first time this month - I need a boot up the bum to get me working on Auntie Maggies lapghan ;) or some gentle encouragement at least. I NEED to get this finished, I love Auntie Maggie dearly but I'm wishing I hadn't agreed to make her a lapghan :blush

1. Auntie Maggies lapghan (halfway there so far)

2. More squares for Mum & Dads afghan (15 x 8" squares so far)

3. More squares for hubbys hospital blanket

4. Purple shawl for my nieces holiday gift plus a hat or bag

5. Xmas tree filet and xmas decorations (2 sets)

I have loads of holiday gifts and a couple of swaps as well that I'm working on but they hold my attention better than the three things I have listed! :)

Hi Myreah, welcome to crochetville!

There is a crochet-along (CAL) for weight loss 2009 thread under Crochet-Alongs. My afghan contains of the tiles that count as a pound loss or an exercise day. It encourage me to stick to my weight loss long-term plan. Once I reach my weight goal, I will keep up with 'maintenance' tiles where it show that I try to keep my weight stable.

Hi Tahlara

I am new to this forum but I can tell already I am going to love it.

What is a wt. loss afaghan? Sounds interesting

Myreah

Ok, maybe by listing my WIPs here I'll be better about finishing some of them.

1. Finish granny square afghan - dark sage green, meadow fiesta and cream; its just one huge square and about 3/4 done.

2. Finish pet blanket - dark blue & medium blue mix; needs a bit more med blue yarn ... I'll find a match in my box of scraps somewhere I'm sure

3. Put together at least 1 afghan using the granny sqs I've got sitting in the bag waiting for me

I know that's only 3, but if I get those done, I can always add more to the list! :hook

So I decided to go ahead and work on the angel in case it was too difficult for me. So far, so good. I managed to get the head completed and stuffed and am now working on the adjoining dress. The head had me worried because I've never stuffed anything before, but that wasn't so bad. The rest should be a breeze until it comes time to stiffen it. I've never stiffened anything other than flat items, so it will be a first for shaping a 3-D object. If it comes out really good I may make one for myself. This one is for my mom, somehow she always gets my experiments and the best of my work.

So far, I am working on mom's afghan. It will be half done if I finish a repeat today. I also have to finish the market bag, all the pesky ends.

I found out that I will visit my friend this weekend, perfect timing as the bag is for her.

I also work on a jester hat, the brim part is done. :)
