Purple/Turquoise Shawl done

I've finally got around to getting a photo. I have designed this to send to Israel to be given to an old lady living in poverty who is a Holocaust survivor.

 

It is a warm shawl, can be used as a knee rug and is big enough to put on the bed on chilly nights to add extra warmth.

 

I'm thrilled with how it turned out. I used 2 strands of turquoise and one strand of purple sports weight yarn. The "collar" was done separately - one side with purple shells and the other side joined to the shawl with the purple. All done in an easy V-stitch.
