Destashing weekend project- rug

Well, my yarn was beginning to take over my living area. So this weekend I made another throw rug for my son's room and a larger one for in front of the sink. They aren't overly pretty, well atleast the sink one, but decreased my stash by half and got a nice soft rug to stand on while working at the sink. Haven't decided whether to hide threads or let the cats play with them . These are made with 4 strains of worsted weight of varying colors and a Q hook.

 

 

the top is the sink, the bottom my son's. Oh yeah, we need to clean .

Thanks everyone! It really is nice to have my stash down so dramatically, and I am loving the one by the sink. Go figure. Now I am working on a stadium blanket with three strands.
