I made up a pattern for a cute little doily (look under thread show and tell for pictures of it) and liked the pattern so well decided to make a shawl.... What do you think??? It took 1 pound of Love to make it...

 

DO TO LOTS OF REQUEST, I HAVE WRITTEN THE PATTERN OUT, JUST REMEMBER I AM NOT A PATTERN WRITER. SURE HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I WROTE...

 

 

 

 

Doily Shawl

1 skein of Pound of Love

Size H hook

Size center to edge 29"

Ch 6, join to form a circle

Row 1- 8 dc, ch3 turn (Ch 3 always counts as first dc on each row)

Row 2- 2 dc in each dc - 16 total, ch 3 turn

Row 3 - Dc, ch 1 in each dc total 16 dc and 16sc, ch 3 turn

Row 4- dc in first sc, ch 1, 2dc in next space, ch1 2dc all around total 28 dc 14 sc, Ch 3 turn

Row 5- 2 dc in first space, then 3 dc in each space around end with 1dc in last dc of last row--total 52dc, ch 3 turn

Row 6- dc in each dc around total 52 dc, ch 5 turn

Row 7- Skip 1 dc dc in next dc ,ch 2, skip 1 dc dc in next dc, around total 21dc (including 1st ch 5) 20ch2 spaces, ch 3 turn

Row 8- 2 dc in space, 1 dc in dc from last row, 2dc in space, all around total 61 dc, ch 5 turn

Row 9- repeat row 7 total 31 dc 30 ch 32 spaces, ch 3 turn

Row 10- (2 dc in space, skip dc from last row, 2dc in space, dc in dc from last row), repeat around total 73 dc, ch 5 turn

Row 11-Repeat row 7 total 37 dc 36 ch 2 spaces, ch 3 turn

Row 12- Repeat row 8 ch 5 turn

Row 13- repeat row 7 ch 3 turn

Row 14- repeat row 8, ch 5 turn

Row 15- repeat row 7, ch 3 turn

Row 16- repeat row 8, ch 5 turn

Row 17- repeat row 7, ch 3 turn

Row 18- 2 dc in each ch2 space around, ch 5 turn

Row 19- repeat row 7 ch 4 turn

Row 20- repeat row 8 EXCEPT DO in Treble crochet instead of dc ch 6 turn

Row 21- repeat row 7 EXCEPT do treble crochet ch 4 turn

Row 22- repeat row 20 ch 6 turn

Row 23- repeat row 21 ch 4 turn

Row 24- repeat row 20 ch 6 turn

Row 25- repeat row 21 ch 4 turn

Row 26- repeat row 20 ch 6 turn

Row 27- repeat row 21 ch 4 turn

Row 28- ch 8, (skip 1 ch 2 space, sc in next ch2 sp, ch 8), repeat() around ch 8 turn

Row 29- sc in ch8 from last row, ch 8, sc in ch 8 from last row, all around ch 9 turn

Row 30- sc in ch 8 from last row, ch 9, sc in ch 8 from last row, ch 9 all around ch 4 turn

Row 31- 7 treble crochets in first ch 9 space, sc in next ch 9 space, 7 trc in next ch 9 space, all around, ch 4 turn total 40

scollops

Row 32- trc in next trc, ch 1 trc in same trc, then trc in next trc, ch 9, skip 2 trc from last row, trc in next trc, trc in next trc,

ch 1 trc in same trc, and trc in next trc ( this should be one scollop from last row) repeat for next and following

scollops. Should have 40 sets over scollops turn

Row 33- sc in space between first 2 trc, 10dc in ch 9 space from last row, sk 2 tr, sc in next space, ch 3, skip 4trc, sc in next

space, 10 dc in next ch 9 space from last row, all around sc in last space turn

Row 34- dc ch 1 in dc from last row... sc in ch 3 space all around ch 6

Row 35- dc ch 2 in dc from last row sc in last sc from last round all around ch 5

Row 35- sc in first ch 2, ch 5, skip dc and sc in ch 2 sp, ch 5, skip dc and sc in ch 2 sp all across, when you get to the end, sc

all along the flat end and finish off
