Hi everyone, I have been reading up on the charity blitz and would like to participate if I can.

I quite like the panta pattern so might try that. Also I have made a babette blanket and its roughly 46"X48", I thought I could just finish it off and send it as a lapghan but wanted to know if this would be ok for the charity. I can show a pic if you havent seen the pattern before.

Hi Aussie! So glad you are joining us. :yay

That babette would make a terrific lapghan. Thanks so much!

Tracey did mine get there? I didn't see you say you got mine yet. I'm the one that forgot to put my ville name in the package. :D

I've got 2 lapghans for the Feb. charity and will finish off a scarf to send with them.

...Just checking in to see how everyone is coming along this week with the Feb Blitz... I just finished up a hat using http://cris-craft.blogspot.com/2007/02/almost-instant-gratification-hat.html

this pattern from Cris. It worked up very cute and I used Butter TLC two strands held together.

..I also did a few more squares on a lapghan in a variegated plus and orangy color solid...Today I hope to finish this hat from Catherine( Yarncat) http://www.yarncat.com/watchcap.html

What is everyone else up to ???.

I have a bunch of stuff done for February. I have 2 shawls, 3 hat/scarf sets, 5 hats and 1 lapghan - so far. I don't know how much more I'll be able to do but I'll try to whip a couple more things up. :)

I've got several hats done (not sure... haven't counted for a while) a scarf (and another one almost done), and I'm working on a lapghan. I'm making regular stocking caps (I love this one!!)

I really like the ribbed design... I think it fits a variety of heads better! But it seems to take a little longer...

Looks like we're doing great, everyone!!! :cheer:cheer

nnt - thanks for sharing that link to the hat pattern - I like that hat! I finished up a hat and started another one this afternoon. I think after I finish this hat I will try to make scarfettes (maybe keyhole scarves) to go with the hats I have done.

.. Hey February Blitzers! Donna just had a great idea .. since we are sending directly to the charity in South Dakota, we won't have the pleasure of seeing everyone's completed work.. If you can, post a pic before you send so we can see all the fine things going to One Spirit...

Have a fine day... all day long!!

I had thought of that, but I depend on my son to do it for me. He's a male and a teenager. Need I say more? :devil
