I made this for my 8yr old. It was made with Caron Simply Soft dark country blue and light country blue. I got the inital pattern from http://www.amazon.com/Poncho-Panache/dp/1596350067/sr=1-39/qid=1162088395/ref=sr_1_39/103-2170385-0799824?ie=UTF8&s=books

 

I modified it a bit... made bigger (10 rounds), added a neck border of a double crochet every other stitch which made adding a drawstring really easy and I added a shell border around the bottom.

It didn't take very long to make, a few days. My daughter loves it, says it's very soft and squishy. I love that Caron Simply Soft
