A friend is moving into a new home next month and I wanted to send a welcoming gift. Here is the granny ripple afghan in red heart yarn. I love how the colors work in the pattern. :yay

It's gorgeous! I saw someone else's a while back, and this has been a WIM maybe for a while now for me. :) Nice job, and what a nice gift! :cheer

Great afghan. My eyes were very intrigued by the effect it has. The granny and the ripple. I have never seen one like this before.

Wow, that's beautiful! I love the 'country' colors. It almost reminds me of a jigsaw puzzle. I've never seen that pattern before. Great job! :cheer:clap p.s. Here's a hint: keep fingernail clippers nearby to cut your yarn with. No worries about leaving scissors lying around..... I've done this for years. I even tied one on my tote bag, using a long piece of yarn, that way, when I need to cut something, it will reach pretty far, and they don't get lost in the bottom of the bag. I found some on the clearance aisle at Walmart for ten cents each! I bought a whole handful, that way I can easily find one - in my tote bag, purse, car, etc...:hook
