Clair's Shawl Pattern

Materials: 6 skeins of Lion Jiffy in Fisherman

1 skein of Patons Grace in a complimentary color

Crochet Hook size P

 

Guage: 7 esc = 4 inches

7 rows = 4 inches

 

Size: 66" x 21" not including fringe

 

Stitch used: Extended single crochet. Insert hook into stitch, yo, pull through one loop, yo, pull through last 2 loops.

 

ch 113. Esc into 2nd ch from hook and into each ch across. (112 esc) ch 1, turn.

 

Rows 1-37: Esc into each st across. ch 1, turn.

Row 38: Esc into each st across. Fasten off.

 

Cut 12 " strands of yarn from both Jiffy and Grace. Holding three strands of each, double over and pull loop through holes in ends of shawl. Pull strands through loop and tighten. I positioned the fringe in every other row but you can use your discretion as to how many strands to use and how close you want the fringe to be.
