  1. What a cute Hello Kitty set! I am so impressed that you were able to do such a fabulous job just going by pattern symbols without knowing any Japanese. Wow, you really did a fantastic job, and the set is just adorable!
  2. What a beautiful afghan. I love the gorgeous blue tones, and you did such a fantastic job on it!
  3. Here is another really cute one.
  4. Oh, is that ever neat! This probably sounds so naive of me, but I have actually never seen a crocheted glass cover before. I am really impressed by both the beautiful design, as well as the idea of this lovely cover! I really love the dangling beads. Boy, I never cease to be amazed by all the wonderfully interesting creativity of everyone here. Thank you so much for sharing your photos.
  5. I prefer borders on just about everything, myself. I like Hummywinger's suggestion of a reverse sc border - very quick and easy, and gives it all a nice polished edge.
  6. Hi Karen Great to have you join us!
  7. Those are lovely stitch markers. You are the first and only person I know who knits with a screwdriver!
  8. Wow, I loved the first version, but the second version is even more spectacular - it turned out so gorgeous. The vertical ribbing at the top really looks striking!
  9. Wow, I love how you designed that second bag Drew. Both styles turned out awesome!
  10. Wow, BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you Dot! How wonderful!
  11. I really like the new name - it's perfect....much better than any of the ones I came up with. I can't wait to see the second design version too.
  12. Very pretty purse - I like the ribbing, and the subtle ruffling at the top. Coming up with a name for this one is tough. The ribbing reminds me of a road, and the pretty color reminds me of either a flower or a feminine name. My first thought would be maybe "Abby Road." On the other hand, if you changed the colors of this purse to more sixties retro hues, you could name it "Gone Retrow." There is also a particular variety of pink foxglove that this purse reminds me of, so maybe "Foxglove" might work too? Well, it's really a great looking purse Drew, and I am anxious to see what tweaking you will do on it for the later version. ------------------------------------ edited: Here is a photo the foxglove that I mentioned previously.
