Made dishcloth and hot pads this week, so used up a lot of S&C skeins.

I had to go to the yarn shop this week to get yarn for the baby blanket, so I increased skeins!  The good news is that the main part of the blanket is fairly easy, so that’s great—it will make a great take-along project.  I did use up one skein on the Big Love sweater, so altogether:

I worked on the mini minion I thought it would be easy, but I'm not getting it right. I made a lot of shamrock pins and a shamrock wall hanging instead. I used a big ball of green (+ 1) . My friend wanted any extra  for her prayer shawl group, so I gave her a box of 14 balls and 2 skeins (+ 18) .  I went to Michael's to get some green  , it was on sale, so I got pink, light blue, light yellow and white too (- 10).

Well, I was doing fairly well using up some cotton skeins.  Actually had a +12.  BUT then I went to JoAnn's.  Bought big twist cotton that was on sale, 7 skeins.  So my weekly total is a -2 this week.

It's hard to believe another month is almost gone. I'm down to the last stripe on the afghan, but nothing else used up yet.

I’ve been feverishly knitting and crocheting all week, but somehow never made it through a skein!  I confess, I’ll probably be acquiring more skeins soon, as I’m planning to take a Zoom class with my LYS to crochet a summer top.  One of my best friends is taking the class, too, so I’m looking forward to it.  In the meantime, for this week:
