Newbie to the group from BC

Hi! I'm Melanie. I live in beautiful British Columbia. I taught myself how to crochet just about 6 years ago but have only been a serious crocheter for the last year. I am always looking for new things to do. I have yet to try crocheting with thread and I am looking for some simple things to try.

Hi :hiand welcome from Louisiana. You could try a bookmark in thread as a starter. I don't know any links off the top of my head but I could look some up for you if you like. My first thread project was a doily when I was first married. Not the easiest one in the book but I took to it fast. There are some pretty easy and basic doilies you could start with.
