New here, but not to crocheting.

I've been crocheting since I learned from a McCall's article back when I was In Junior HIgh and living in India. Now I live In Vienna, Austria and am teaching a group of 4 girls (Grades 4-8). I'm so proud of these girls; they are really learning fast.

I also do a lot of other needlework - just not knitting. I've learned several times and still can't do it. Funny thing is, I was able to get my second son started on knitting, and he has gotten quite good, besides starting a trend at Purdue University, and making several of the girls bring out their knitting.

My oldest is out of college, and I just sent a flannel blanket with a crocheted lace trim for the baby that is coming soon. I also have an 8th-grader at home to keep me busy.

I have two or three active crochet projects going, four or five quilting projects, and a few embroidery ones, too. And that's just the active ones that I might work on this month.
