Finished this the other day.  it's my 21st blanket for my December donation for this year.

The pattern is called snowflake afghan by Helene Rush.  I tore it out of either a magazine or a book at least 20 years ago.  I tried finding the book or magazine because other people were asking about it but I had no luck.

 

I did find the designer but she no longer holds the copyright so she no longer has the authority to allow me to share it.

 

So sorry - maybe someone will have better luck searching than I did.

I have been in touch with a representative for Helene Rush who has been trying to remember where the pattern was published....Today she sent this latest reply:

 

Just an update, McCall's bought Herrschner's Crochet magazine and that became McCall's Crochet, she's thinking that it may have been in an issue of the Herrschner's.

After more research I have located it in the: Crochet Patterns By Herrschners...Nov Dec 1989...Vol 3  No 6...31 pages

 

I hope this helps others that were looking for this pattern.
