I stole this from msmusic because it was just so pretty and I had a friend who asked me for a pink/purple afghan for her granddaughter. this is the perfect pattern for a 10 year old girl. she loves it! it is the Bernat Wavy Diamonds pattern free from the Bernat website.

Gorgeous! You could play with colors and have this pattern be appropriate for just about anyone, it looks like stained glass with the black division.
