Colorful Scarf

My granddaughter asked for a scarf and when I asked her what color she said, "pink and green and blue all mixed up." So we went to Joanns and she picked out Red Heart Kids, the color is called Playful. I didn't use a pattern, just used sc and shells.

Thanks everyone. I gave her the scarf today and she informed me that she needs a matching hat. Looks like I'll be going to get more yarn.

Very pretty! Love the yarn and I agree, you picked the perfect pattern to set off the yarn color changes. Knowing which yarn to use with which pattern is so important to crochet! It is a talent I have not developed yet, but rely on my patterns to tell me most of the time. Once in awhile I venture off on my own and am a little hit and miss at this point. But I'm not afraid to try.
