Howdy from the South :)

 

I'm a Husband and Father who loves to crochet :blush and I have to thank the ERA movement of the 1970's for not only opening more workplace opportunities to women, but also breaking down long-held sterotypes that now allow men to become more active in the home and take on sterotypically feminine roles and hobbies without looking like a total fruit-loop. So from all the men who can now carry a diaper bag with their head held high, Thank You Gloria Steinem!

 

I learned to Crochet from my Grandmother the summer I was 13 but never learned to read patterns so I've never really developed beyond "beginner" ha ha.

 

I'm in my 40's now and only recently learned several shells stitches :lol

 

The birth of a few new babies in the family has brought me back into the hobby and I'm more addicted to it now than I ever was in the past ha ha.

 

Looks like a great group here and I hope to be able to learn from you all :)

Welcome, Raven. You're going to fit in here real well. We've got lots of guys comming out of the woodwork who crochet. This is a GREAT place to be with lots of ideas and inspiration. It keeps your addiction addicting. LOL
