Charity Afghan

Finally finished the afghan for Pine Ridge.

 

 

 

It's made out of thin chenille from cones I got off ebay. Just a basic granny square and despite the holes it is VERY warm. I feel in love with it and it's hard to part with but it's commited to take the trip so it will be sent with the hats and other thinks I am making to send.

Oh Kari it's beautiful, and so snuggly. I'm working on an afghan for Pine Ridge right now too, but mine's just a plain hdc in 3 strands, 2 varigated one bright yellow.

I really really like it.

I'm going to have to buy some more of the ivy (the dark green) and make another one to keep for the house as hubby really liked it as well.

 

It is manly colored but I like the color combo and how it turned out.

It actually made me want to make one of those granny ponchos from the lion brand website.

i admire you charitablity or whatever you'd call it. i don't think i could spend so much time on afghan and give it away. baby items and beanies, yes but not a blanket.so uh, go you!
