Happy Hat

I was in a fun mood the other day so made a Happy Hat for my niece. She's an elementary school teacher and loves smiley faces. She even used them on her napkins at her wedding reception. I'm hoping she'll wear her hat for recess duty.

The pattern is in "Hooked on Crochet!" June 2003. I used RH super saver bright yellow and Banana Berry.
