My Scarves Are Going to the 2012 Superbowl!

I have a very simple crochet scarf pattern listed that apparently is well liked based on the comments I get, but one that I got last night really has me smiling.

 

A nice lady in Indianapolis said that she's using my scarf pattern to make a bunch of scarves for the volunteers at the 2012 Superbowl. How cool is that?

Yes, they will be done in Indianapolis Colts colors of royal blue and white. Apparently the committee is asking local knitters and crocheters to make the 8,000 scarves for volunteers to wear during the game. They can use any pattern they want but have to be in those colors, then will be adorned with a Superbowl patch.

 

The lady that left me the comment on the pattern (link in my original post) said she had already done a few in other patterns, but really liked mine and would be making a lot of them. Don't know what 'a lot' means, but I'm still excited.

Wow!! That is way cool!! And that is a really nice looking scarf by the way. I liked the colors the first time I saw it. The black and white were my school colors!!
