but omitted the picot edging.

What a wonderful piece! I printed out the pattern and who knows? maybe someday I will even make it. I love old patterns like this. You certainly did a fantastic job on it.

I love it in white. What wonderful work! I made one in ecru several years ago for a friend that does reenactments in Tombstone.

Now I want one. It would be lovely for tatters as well.

 

I have a metal ball that I bought years ago to hold thread and I never use it. It's so heavy-I think I'll let the kids hang it on the Christmas tree this year. Or decorate it like a kissing ball.
