Can anyone please tell mi if that yarn is as shiny in person as it appears in the photo?

I'm looking at it online, but the online photo (Joann's) is... odd, and I cannot tell if it has as much of a sheen as it appears on this DARLING 'dillo.

The yarn I used for the original design was - Bernat Denimstyle color: Sweatshirt. I ran out of it when I was helping some of my testers figure a better way to pharse the instructions. So I used a Simply Soft: gray. My photo program really brighten up the color on the close ups. Here are 2 of the completed Arty's from my testers, they used yarns of same weight not the Denimstyle. This gives you an idea of how you can change Arty to be your special armadillo.
