I hope this works, am trying to show off MIL's comfortghan. Got my camara :clap,

finally, now to figure out how to use it.

Tell me if this works good, or is there anything that I need to do different. Thanks

No, I just did a ch 3, sc in each stitch around (front loop only) in top of each square, then finished off.

 

Joining---1 sc, ch 1, 1 sc, ch 1---back and forth

Then joined the strips together the same.

 

Border---was a ch 3, sc in each stitch around, finished off.

 

 

 

Nicely put together, Kathy. Did you use the flat-braid joining?

That is the sweetest comfortghan it just looks so cozy and it has such a cute country look to it:) Congrats to all the ladies who helped it will surely be cherished.
