Kinda sorta. The overall pattern was inspired by several doggie sweater patterns- which gave me the knowledge of the shape a dogsweater should be- and this particular sweater was inspired by a men's vest pattern I borrowed the pattern stitches from. If you would like to try it, PM me. I have a few people testing it for me, so hopefully soon we will know if my pattern writing attempt was even useable.
