  1. WOW! I love the colors, it's really great!
  2. Hi everyone! I recently learned how to do a basketweave stitch, and would like to learn how to increase and decrease. I tried looking on youtube, but I wasn't sure which videos would teach how to do this the best. Do any of you have any suggestions of which videos are best, or a good website to learn this from? Thanks so much!!
  3. That's a great idea! Instead of making a crochet edging though, I think I will make it a plain blanket and either add buttons or velcro or a way to attach it to the yarn blanket so it can be a 3 in 1 blanket =) Thanks!
  4. The flannel is from Joann Fabrics. I'm lining the blankets because the babies I'm making them for are very tiny and it gets cold and windy here in Alaska so I want them to be able to use the blankets all year around =)
  5. Hi Everyone! It's been a VERY long time since I've been here. I'm happy to be back and just wanted to say hi to everyone! Have a great week:hook
  6. Hi Everyone! I've been working on a couple baby blankets lately and I plan to line them with flannel. I've never done anything like this before, so I'm wondering if I wash the cloth before I sew it to the blanket, or if I just sew it on as it is? Does anyone have any suggestions in general? Thanks so much for your help!
  7. Here is a hat I made for my friend who has a baby due in a few weeks. I usually make Hello Kitty for my friends who have girls, but this friend is going to have a boy so I made Winnie the Pooh. Thanks for looking!
  8. Here are a couple of hats one of my parents' friends asked me to make for her daughters. One is Kai Lan from Ni Hao Kai Lan and of course Hello Kitty. The Kai Lan hat was definitely a challenge, it's the first one I've ever made so I'm pretty pleased with it. With the Hello Kitty, I used 2 strands of yarn since it was an adult sized one. I hope you guys like them =)
  9. Super cute! I especially like the legs and arms on the frog, they're silly and cute =)
  10. It's beautiful, and bright!
  11. I SO love them!! And the colors are awesome!
  12. I'm half Yupik Eskimo, and even today there are lots of modernized and even traditional versions of traditions that have gone on forever. Here's an entry I found online that explains it if you want to learn more. It even shows pictures and everything =) The guy is writing from my hometown even.
