Where can I find camo yarn? My brother has requested a camo afghan for his birthday. UGH! :yuck I can't imagine making something ugly intentional. I have not seen it in my local Wally World or Michaels. Any suggestions? TIA

Bernat has a Camoflage yarn that is 100% acrylic. Since you're making an afghan, I do know that weirdmirror.org has it in bags of 3 6oz skeins for $13.95. Yarn and Thread by Lisa has it for $3.50/6oz skein.

Locally I've never seen it here in AC Moore/Michaels/JoAnn's/LYS... Good luck!

my hobby lobby has it, and i've used it. the bernat camo yarn is available in several different camo colors unlike the RH which is only available in one. i'd definately go for the bernat if you can find some.

Well, I use cammo yarn pretty often...since we are a Proud Military Family. I have to say I don't feel it is ugly :( and crochets up very nicely. I have made several hats, scraves, a purse, and a few afghans using this cammo yarn. For my husband's birthday, he's getting a cammo and red/white/blue afghan. I use Red Heart's cammo yarn, it's about $2.50 at our Wal Mart.
