Opinion wanted on this Tote Bag

I completed this project today for the Ag Expo that starts next week. The pattern came from 100 Crochet Projects and called for sport weight yarn. I used some lovely Plassard Estival, and then for the border and motif I used Lily Sugar and Cream yellow. What I want your opinion on is whether or not I should put the shell border on the bottom of the bag. My hubby thinks it would take away from the beauty of the yarn. Tell me what you think, PLEASE.

It's a beautiful bag now and I don't think you need to add the border.

I agree with the DH. I like the way it looks. If you put the border on the bottom, it will be to busy and yes take away from the bag.

Ok, so I'm "odd-man-out" I say add the bottom border... I TOTALLY agree that the bag is gorgeous, but personally I have a thing about symmetry and think the bottom border wouldn't be that busy... I think it would give it more balance. JMO, I'm not an expert

It looks beautiful just as it is. :cheer I think your hubby's right, and an the edging would take away from the yarn.

I think it looks perfect the way it is. If i were to even put a border, I'd actually think it would look kinda cool on the straps. But maybe that's just me and I'm weird It's beautiful though
