Very pretty. You should be able to machine sew as long as you keep fabric or webbing side towards the feed dog of the machine.That means yarn side up when sewing.

Thank you everyone. I lined the handle with nylon webbing - I just hot glued it to the crocheted piece being real careful. I crocheted this purse with 1 strand of light blue held together with the magic ball (a whole bunch of scrap yarn tied together and rolled into a ball) and I used an L hook.
