My First Size 20 Doily

It's not much, but I just had to use some of my new Crochet Thread I got yesterday, The pattern is from "Annie's Attic's - 2 Hour Doilies" - Was an interesting experience. I don't think I'll do this pattern again, was kind of hit and miss, kind of confusing getting the circles lined up right!

 

The patterns all call for "Cotton 8" Thread (Which I'm thinking is like Luster Sheen), and an "E" Hook /I used a "9" Hook and Size 20 Thread - Finished Size is about 9" x about 4"

It looks very nice to me, where did you get all your size 20 thread?? What kind is it? I always feel good when I have a large amount of one color...

I don't think I like the doily, the rings look "messy". But your crochet work is great, I'm not knocking your ability to crochet this doily at all Can't wait to see what else you do with all that thread

I got all of my thread off of eBay There is a link to her eBay store on my Blog page about the crochet thread. It's size 20 made in Brasil "Rubi" is the brand name, each ball has 43 yds, and they really weren't that expensive!
