My niece Molly turned 6 a couple weeks ago, then immediately came down with pneumonia and strep throat and was stuck in the hospital for a couple days : ( (she has 3 smaller siblings and a pregnant mommy at home, so the stress level was really high in their world!)

 

SOOO, i made her this little kitten (based on the roxycraft.com amigurumi animal patterns) and 3 little girlie outfits -- a pink ruffly dress, a sparkly blue and green sweater set, and a red bikini (plus a small purse, a fish to eat, and a pouch to hold it all).

 

The outfits were really fun to make -- it was nice to figure out what to make for her little wardrobe, finish up some yarn scraps i had, and make up the patterns.

 

I think she turned out pretty cute!
