Amigurimi Neko in thread

Finally got around to taking photos and posting:hook

 

I made thread versions of the amigurumi neko - I named them Dai (for daidai meaning orange in Japanese) and Sora (meaning sky in Japanese).

 

 

I made "Sora" with a different muzzle - based on another toy pattern.

I have this pattern! Someone on eBay was selling her English language interpretation. It's become one of my WIPs as I'm not thrilled with the results thus far and may have to frog its face sigh.

Thanks everyone... Dai and Sora sit at about 4 inches high - they are perfect travelling companions...

 

Each took me about 2 nights crocheting infront of the TV...

 

Re: pattern - it is now posted in English by the original designer (http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mite/diagram/index.html) - it might be easier to follow because it is accompanied by charts... Best of all it is free...
