Hello from Oklahoma

Hello. My name is Linda Ney, and I live in a very small town in southwest Oklahoma. I recently retired from teaching and have moved home to care for my mother. I first taught myself to crochet when I was 12. Work had kept me too busy the past few years to be able to crochet very much. Now I can crochet in the evenings rather than grade papers! Ponchos really encouraged me to take up crocheting again. I have made several for my great-nieces and a few for Mother and me. I'm also working on an afghan and pillows for my bedroom. I have found many useful ideas from other crochet groups, and I am looking forward to learning new things from all of you. Thanks for letting me join.

I am 10 minutes from Yukon which is his hometown. They have a street named after him.
