Hi there, y'all,

 

Just joined and wanted to say hi. I've only been crocheting for a short while and haven't really moved beyond scarves - the instant gratification of having a project complete so quickly is addicting!. :devil I'm really looking forward to tips here since no one I live near crochets.

welcome kbhgal - i too do mainly scarves because they are easy and you get a sense of accomplishment quickly. i just completed a baby blanket and it was great. there are so many different stitches to learn as well.

 

show us some of your completed scarves -

 

where is maryland do you live - my best friend lives in Baltimore - i've been there a number of times and love the area

 

P.S. i just noticed that Lisa C. joined the site and she also lives in Maryland!!!
