Sadly, no change, although I’m making progress on the Tree Skirt, and I’ve started on the Afghan for my niece. I think the extended SC is helping my short row issue.

Hi all!! I have got my cro-jo working this week!!

I made part 3 of the Something Magic CAL and finished 2 skeins and 2 balls (+6). I finished a giant stuffed giraffe that I started last week and used up 3 skeins and 1 ball (+7) but also had to buy one skein (-2) to finish it. I made a pair of arm warmers for an order and used one skein (+2). Then I started the Mini Galaxy blanket from Ravelry....I decided to stashbust and pulled all my Loops & Threads Charisma yarn to work on it....I've got 4 rounds to go until I'm finished but so far I've used up a total of 7 skeins and 6 balls (+20). And I just placed an order on Michael's for a new order I just got and I'm going to count it now...5 skeins (-10).

Oops!! Sorry I meant to add pictures lol...Here's the Something Magic CAL, part 3 completed and my huge pink giraffe!! Didn't get a pic of the arm warmers before I mailed them off today and I'll take a picture of the Mini Galaxy once I have it finished.

I got a small bit accomplished this week. Still working with thread, that's always slow. But got a couple of charity blankets completed as well.

I just finished off two cones of cotton. Made a buffet sized "hot pad", two regular hot pads and then one dishcloth....+4.

I gave two skeins to my aunt...+4

Used up the first skein of Lion Brand suede in a shawl and rolled the second into a ball--love those small skeins...+3

I had a fairly successful trip to Hobby Lobby. They did not have enough of the green so I'll have to order it, but I got the yarn for three blankets....-38 which leaves me at..........

I didn't realise I was that close to the end of the skein, so one more finished...+2

Hi Everyone!!

This week I worked on several projects and even got a couple finished . I finished the Mini Galaxy baby sized-blanket and used 2 skiens and 2 balls (+6). I was asked to design a graph for a baby blanket with the baby's name on it, which I graphed, counted all the stitches, started working on, realized my counts were off, re-graphed, re-counted, started working on, THOUGHT I messed up the counts again, started to re-do it for the third time, realized I was right and went back to work on it....120 sc per row and I've got 28 out of 159 rows done now...this project has been seriously tweaking me this week to say the least...then I grabbed the As Time Goes By baby blanket I made as part of a gift and decided to make the border bigger, so I've been working on that. And then the Something Magic CAL...this week was part 4 and it was making 8 eye-shaped pieces that won't be connected until next week's directions are released...I finished 4 skeins on that this week (+8). This pattern is really interesting to work on, sometimes very challenging...but this week's portion kind of drove me nuts because I had to follow the same pattern 8 times to complete it all...

I will post a picture of the baby blanket once I get it done, but here are projects I completed this week...

I see you didn't post scores yet, so I'll add mine. 2 weeks worth of work and I didn't finish the C2C, but I made 4 pot holders and 6 hats. Used 3 Sugar & Cream cotton skeins, a 3.5 oz. skein and rolled down a 7 oz. (+ 9 )

I used 1 skein of #10 thread & 1 skein of #20 this week. Then bought 2 skeins of each. They all should be used in the projects I'm working on. We shall see.

My green yarn was shipped yesterday, so it should be here next week--18 skeins, so I'll probably be going back to the moon. Just tried to order some yarn that was supposed to have a 30% kit discount, but the discount isn't showing up at checkout like it's supposed to. I may be saved from myself.
