The blue potholder was made by great aunt. I also have a varigated blue and 2 pink ones. The basket is made to hang on the wall hold the potholders. The green one is double. These, and the watermelon ones, were made by my aunt. Too pretty to use!

They are all pretty but I love the blue set! I've been into vintage potholders for a while. I even have a couple of basket potholders but never knew that they were to hold other potholders. Now I'll have to make a couple of complimentary potholders to go into the baskets.

Such beautiful work! I can see why you don't use them. I have some washcloths from my Great Grandma and we only use them to line a basket and make the edges pretty. I forbid anything that might leak going into that basket!!! LOL.
