This was just a regular auction, they do a lot of estates. I plan on going threw all of the yarn sometime this week and putting it in a new box.

Awesome! Lucky you, wish more people were willing to give up there stashes around here. Don't see much yarn or thread at garage sales or auctions. Maybe at a resale shop, but it goes quick.

What a haul! You did great and it looks nice and clean, well maintained. Too often when I find some yarn at yard sales and the like, it is dirty or smells bad. I remember how much fun auctions were! Growing up we had a local auction barn with weekly auctions. They had an area outside for kids to play and we had a ball there. As I got older, I managed to get some bargains too. But I haven't seen any good auctions around lately. I have been reading they are opening a new auction place here in our town so I will look forward to trying it out.
