Leaping Deer Filet Crochet

I just finished this tonight. I really like how it turned out but it has been a PIMA since I started it. I have never in my life had to rip out so many rows in one project. First time I had to rip out four rows, got those back and had to rip another two. Did fine for awhile then multiple times I had to rip out two half rows. Last one was a total of two rows ripped out. Started to really make me mad!!! LOL But i stuck with it and it came out looking pretty good I think!

It is so great! It was worth frogging and starting rows again. I'm glad you didn't give up! Really fantastic filet crochet!

That turned out great even if it was a pain to do. I've had the ripping sessions also. When I started using my magnetic board keeping track of each row it goes along much better.

PS: How big is this one?

 

I haven't measured this one. It's just a little wider than the dragon was. The deer is 85 by 85 squares. The one that I am working on now is just a bit bigger than the deer, it's 91 by 91 squares. I'll measure the deer tonight and see how big it is.
