Thank you for all of the nice comments. This technique is not hard to do.... just takes a bit of practice. When I first started doing TC, you could see my carried yarn being floated along. That stopped by the time I made my 3rd project. Sometimes, the carried yarn is supposed to show through which gives the finished piece the appearance of being "woven." I used a 4.5MM hook to make the Kitty Purse. The Flower Power basket was made using 3MM hook and all of the others were made with a 3.5MM hook. The 3.5 hook seems to work best for me when I'm doing 3 stranded projects with RHSS yarn. I like using RHSS because of it's stiffness.
