filet butterfly

This is my finished filet butterfly which i decided to frame. it was a big one to do as i only learnt to filet crochet in recent months and only made some small items before. there were 40 rows to do. i certainly am

i enjoy it. i learnt to do it in another club as someone there did lessons week by week and gave us something small to make too. i am also learning how to do delta crochet.

delta crochet is similar to filet but you work in triangles instead of squares. it is pretty. i have only seen one website that shows how it is done. here is the website. http://www.hassdesign.com/DeltaCrochetTechniques/
