Ok this thread is about making a list of WIPs that you would like to finish in September.Then you report back as you are working on crossing the items off your list. You get a when you complete an item along with that great feeling of knowing you finished something. We love to hear about and see finished projects!

I'll chime in.......In September, I want to complete:

 

My aran/fisherman afghan I'm working on; and

Start on the Sweetheart Ripple pattern

Okay, here goes:

 

1. Finish my commitment of 20 scarves for Vets in nursing home - 18 done

2. Finish V-Stitch Afghan - 50% complete

3. Finish RR - 30% complete

4. Finish first pair of socks-made 1 sock today-Completed 9/2/09 YIPPEE!

5. Make ongoing baby boy clothes for my great grandson who is to be born in December

6. ACK! I forgot, I have to finish August scarf 75% complete and make one for September (not even thought about) for the 2009 Scarf CAL

Even if I don't totally complete my project for that month (medical reasons), this thread keeps me focused to actually WORK on it as much as possible.

 

Everyone is so supportive of each other and I love seeing other members completed work.

You all are so welcome I enjoy hosting now I'll start my list for September:

 

I need to weave in ends to a dishcloth

finish putting my turkey together

work on daughter's blanket for Christmas

start to work on a bear for the other 2 daughters start not sure I'll finish since I tend to lose steam but I will try really really hard

and forgot to mention to finish the scarf I started for the 12 scarves of 2009

I'll join in. I need to edge the squares and sew them together for my ds aghan. I have had all the squares done and a few of them edged since February and then I sort of lost interest in finishing it

 

I also need to locate the pattern I was using and finish DH's ripple afghan. It's been a WIP since last winter as well.

I have high hopes I'm not sure I can muster! Items in red are finished!!!! I want to finish:

 

1.) Purple bunting to match the hat and booties I made

2.) Cowboy booties and some kind of sweater or bunting to match the pink camo hat I made

3.) Almost finished a wool wrap soaker and need to make one or two more

4.) Start and finish the garden tote I've fallen IN LOVE WITH to use as a diaper bag~this is the one I so DESPERATELY want the most, but I can't see actually happening... Okay, changed my mind to the eight pocket tote!

5.) ADDING 9/5: A few hats for my darling's birthday on the 12th

Okay here's my list. This CAL has been a great help. In August I finished up all the things on my list. I have to go back to work in Sept. so hopefully I can do as well.

 

In September I will:

1. Finish my Flower Patch Afghan - 35 Squares, 25 Done

2. Do 5 more squares on the Monet Pinapple Afghan - 12 squares, 1 Done (at the moment)

3. Finish 2 stranded Round Ripple in purple

Here are the "Ugly Snugglies" for the animal shelter. A real scrap project.

 

Nothing fancy just row after row of single crochet with whatever leftovers were in the closet.
