Advice please on color choosing

Hi everyone.

 

I am making a round ripple entirely out of RH Hot Pink yarn.

 

I was wondering what color to trim it with. I have some royal blue RH or some Baby coordinates in white.

 

What's your opinion? I am trying to use just what I have on hand.

I didn't even think about black. I have an RH in black also.

 

Something else to think about.

 

It's for the county fair, so I really want it to stand out.

my first thought before i even finished reading your post was black. so if you have black i would do that. black would really make it stand out. if you don't want to do black i would say white.

I was gonna say blue, but very few people agree with me that blue and pink are a cool combo.

My first thought was also black - but if you don't want to do black, white would also work.

I'm starting on the black row.

 

What I was planning is to do one row in black, three more in the hot pink (if I have enough yarn) and then the edging in black. It's going to look very nice.

If you want something a little different do black and then a thin strip of blue. You still get the black-pink combo, but with a twist.

Ok, so I'm a little late...lol...but I think the black is going to look great. So great, that I went and dug thru some of my yarn & found that I have hot pink & black sitting in my stash begging to be crocheted. Thanks for the inspiration!

I think the white. or a lighter shade of pink.

WHITE!!!!! Black is too... obvious. White is subtle and feminine.

I think a spring green would look great with pink.
