I like the challenge of figuring out a pattern, it's also my way of fighting "chemo brain". Looking forward to talking to everyone, but am anxious to check out this site.

Bye for now,

I did that too with chemo. Crochet was perfect. It forced me to sit and rest like I was supposed to do (hard with 2 small kids). It gave me a sense stimulation that counteracted the depression from chemo. ANd, it made me feel like I was accomplishing something. You can finish a small project in crochet and still feel pride.

Welcome from NW PA. I used a hat I had crocheted for myself until my hair came back. It had been one of my first projects, it turned out well and I loved it. I even slept in it. And couldn't even stand to look at it when my hair grew out. That was 12 years ago. Keep fighting the good fight. The activity of crocheting relieved my anxiety and the sense of accomplishment eased the depression.
