I learned when I was little girl. I don't remember how old I was.
  1. Pick me! Pick me! That little tote bag is too cute.
  2. I am working on cowl called Baby It's Cowled Outside from a pattern off the Crochet Me website. It's lacy but looks like it would be warm. The pattern is simple and I hope some day (year) to finish it. Here's the link if you'd like to take a look: http://crochetme.com/baby-it-s-cowled-outside
  3. This is so very tempting. I bought the pattern years ago with all sorts of good intentions but as usual never even got started. I've got so much going on right now...I'll have to give it some thought.
  4. I will try to get a square done for you. Please pm me your address.
  5. I recently signed up for facebook so I could view the Redskins page. In the process I reconnected with a ton of my old high school friends and became facebook addicted.
  6. It's gorgeous!! You did a great job.
  7. I love the pattern! Thanks for sharing. We will be blessed with our first granddaughter in November. This would be perfect for her. PS...I love the family picture in the Cooley jerseys. He's one of my favorites...Go Skins!!
  8. Wow...so beautiful!! I love dogwoods.
  9. I just signed up for Twitter a couple of days ago. Don't know quite what I think of it yet. My name is PogoJr there too.
  10. There is a pattern for a lovely top in the May issue of Crochet! called Simply Delightful Top (it's on page 36 if you happen to have a copy of the magazine). The pattern calls for size 5 pearl cotton. I've worked with thread before but am not familiar with pearl cotton. I finally found some at Hobby Lobby but it was skeined for embroidery or cross stitch and there's no way I would want to buy a bunch of those tiny skeins when I need about 1100 yds for this pattern. I did some internet searching and found 5/2 perle cotton on the Woolery's website. They sell it in one pound cones which would be more than enough for the top. My question is...is 5/2 perle cotton the same thing as size 5 pearl cotton? If it's not the same thing does anyone have any idea where I could find some? I found it on the DMC website but could not for the life of me figure out how to order it. Thanks!
  11. Mine's a little ruffly. I think I should have gone with an 8 hook instead of a 6 (since I couldn't find my 7) but I'm not starting over now.
  12. I had to wait 'til I got home from work and then I ended up working late so I just finished mine. I'm using variegated #10 thread and a 6 hook (I couldn't find my 7). The colors are kind of a light jewel tone. I think it'll turn out nice and my mom loves jewel tones.
  13. Thank you for the pattern and I love the colors you used (orange and blue). These would be perfect to keep in my spinning room and use while spinning. With warm weather coming up I'm going to be back in my flip flops full time and I don't like spinning barefoot because my feet stick to the treadles. Thank you!!! Can't wait to try them.
