Twist n" Twirl Skirt

I have been excited to show this skirt for some time. It was actually made before the "Princess Sweater", and I took the idea of the sweater from this design. The skirt is made of slanted panels connected by lacework. It opens up a whole other level of ideas for designing that I never thought of before.

 

I made the pattern in sizes XS - XL. I used "Pound of Love" and Patons "Brilliance" for yarn. See here for more info and pics. I hope you like it.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. I really had fun creating this one. I usually try to show my patterns in a size small and a size large, so everyone can have an idea what they might look in it. I'm working on a size large, right now, but I got impatient on waiting for it to finish. I'll post it once it's done. It's in black with silver thread. It's very easy and quick to wip up, but I've been so busy with everything that I'm having a difficult time finding the time to get it done. LOL.

I think it would do well if marketed to the swing dancer crowd. They love skirts that swirl and show off legs.
