Tunisian hotmat

Here is my recently finished hotmat worked in tunisian crochet in the round. It was my first time at doing the tunisian crochet in the round and I thoroughly love how it has turned out. However I was lazy to sew the first and last segment and thought I could get away with crocheting the edges but didn't like the trail of stitches left behind as a result:) However the wrong side looks just as lovely and that is my right side:) Hope you all like it.

If you're really unhappy with the edges I would make a lightly thicker border and maybe a scallop. Then the round of spaces will look like it's there on purpose.

I love the spiral effect. I have not seen all tunisian patterns. Are they hard to figure out?? Do you have any sources you can share??

Cool! I've done Tunisian before, but would never have thought to do it in the round like that ... looks very pretty! Did you follow a pattern or make it up yourself?

i think it looks GREAT. i have dabbled a LITTLE in tunisian stitch, but like many others didn't realize you could do it in the round either. great job.
