thanks for keeping us updated. WOW:wow :wow what a kid, all i can say is that she is a very strong young lady and god bless her . all the prayers must be helping her too:angel , i feel so bad for her and her family, she has gone through hell in these last few months, but keeps coming back. sweet little darling that she is. please tell them that i am still and always will pray for them and her. her so she recovers quickly and her family to have some peace and joy knowing she is going to recover(we have to think positive here) and also tell them i am sending her another bear and ask what color she would like this time? thanks so much :hug vicki

thanks rebecca, i pray that she feels better veryyyyy soon, like yesterday. :hug let me know and i will make her a special one. its so cold here and icy might be a bit before i can send it out, but will do it as fast as i can after you tell me the color. i am thinking maybe lavender instead of purple, she might like that huh? well will wait and see what she would like. thanks again vicki:hug

an email from hubby:

Billy just called and said that Jordan is off the ventilator, and breathing entirely on her on. Billy says she is continuing to take baby steps forward and is doing great. She's had several good days in a row now. She is still on a liquid diet, the hospital is trying to gradually get her back to a regular diet. She is still having some stomach problems, and one lung is still weak and has some fluid on it, but they are optimistic the lung will improve with time. Billy asked everyone to continuing praying for Jordan, because it's working.

thank you jesus for this wonderful child, i am so happy that she is getting better(even if it is baby steps) what a spirit she has, she must be decended to great things. i am so happy i am:cry :cry :cry will keep praying for this wonderful little girl and her family, rebecca did you ever find out what color bear? i know you have been sick so when you are feeling better will be great. i can't wait to send her another one:hug :hug :hug thanks for letting us all know:)h vicki

um, i've actually been ducking this question:ducky

honestly, i don't know. i haven't heard from anyone, but they have been staying in the hospital due to jordan's recent illness and i know the office sent a big box (FedEx) to her apartment at the ronald mcdonald house. i did email another employee at the hospital earlier today to have him find out... i should probably hear from him tomorrow

i'll come post AS SOON as i hear :computer

Marvie - i got the package of Jordan's shawl :)h

it is gorgeous!

it came yesterday... i got it all washed !

sent hubby to the store and got some tide free - i thought of adding a touch of fabric softener... but then didn't because i was afraid to. not knowing if it might bother her. i've heard chemo makes your skin extrememly sensitive.

hubby walked out the door with it this morning without my knowing... so i didn't get a picture of it

but trust me ladies.... it is PERFECT for her!!!

Rebecca, we use ultra downy free and sensitive fabric softener in our wash for my little one with extra sensitive skin. We use it on the whole households clothing since she touches our clothes too. Just a thought for next time

I was wandering the boards after I got ezsupporter, reading up in places I'd not been to before, and Jordan's story jus touched my heart.

A few days before I read it, I'd bought some pretty kid's purple yarn, with no idea why, I just knew I had to have it. I also grabbed some fun fur to go with it.... still not knowing why.

Then I read her story and cried my eyes out for a while. When I read purple was her favorite color, I knew why I'd bought the yarn =)

I wanted her to have a Seraphina Shawl... because when I wear mine it feels like I'm wearing a hug, and I seem to recall that seraphina is somehow related to Angels (but I am not religious so I could be wrong) so somehow it just seemed to need to be done.

I didn't take a picture of it before I mailed it... but it turned out really cute *g* I think the fun fur on the edges gave it a little extra "angel" touch to it.

I hope it brings her warmth and positive energies. (I know the chocolate I sent will *g*)

And thank you Rebecca for washing it! I so can't believe I forgot!

jordan's dad was called away from work on wednesday to take an emergency flight to dallas. jordan is not doing well. i will keep you updated when i hear something.
