Comfortghan Finished today- Pics

On Dec 18th, I decided to try to make a comfortghan for a friend/co-worker. With the help of Beaglelady, crochetinclara, and scc51055, I finally got this put together. Unfortunately, my friend is at the hospital with her family as her mom is not expected to make it through the day today, but I will deliver it to her after work on Sunday.

The ghan measures 6 1/2 feet by 7 1/2 feet, and is absolutely wonderful to cuddle up with ( it was nice having it on top of me as I was crocheting it together!)

The second pic is of the squares I have leftover... I'm thinking I might make a lapghan to match it for her as well, but I have to whip up a few more darker color squares to off set the beige. As long as she gets this right now.

 

Thank you once again Ladies for all your help, and to the ones who helped me figure out how to join the squares.

Sadly, my friend's mom passed away yesterday afternoon:cry so in a weird sort of way, the timing of finishing the ghan was perfect! I plan to make a lapghan out of the remaining squares...I just have to take a little break from those colors! I think I'll drop the ghan off at her house either this evening or tomorrow morning. Clara, your little tags fell off, so I will just write all of your names on a list for her. Thanks again!
