Autumn Cables Carpet Bag

I am so excited about this bag - because I made it for ME! And I have been using it ever since the hook came out of the last stitch, and loving it

 

The pattern is Autumn Cables Carpet Bag from Lullabies and Lace (Lavelle26's site), and was a Christmas RAOK. I used Wool-Ease yarn (cream with fleck for outside and gray for lining), and 9" handles (to give you an idea of size) from Joann Fabric.

Thank you all! I did find out one of the bad things about having a purse you want to use all of the time and that can hold anything... I somehow put a soda with a not-quite-closed top in (I'm blaming it on paying more attention to my 2 year old than the soda - crazy, I know ), and spilled on the bottom. A quick wash of the body and hung to dry and it was as good as new, but I sure did miss it while shopping that day!
