Pumpkins

FALL IS IN THE AIR

 

I just picked these pumpkins from my crochet garden.

 

 

 

BASIC PUMPKIN PATTERN

 

any size hook

 

Ch any number

sc first row

next rows - (back loops) sc,sc,hdc,hdc,hdc, dbc to last five stitches then hdc, hdc, hdc, sc, sc, (ch 1 at end of row)

 

sew sides together, gently stuff & gather ends

add stem and vine

 

change size of pumpkin by increasing or decreasing rows & stitiches

 

(There are pumpkin patterns everywhere on the crochet pattern sites)

I LOVE your pumpkins! Fall is indeed in the air....I love the ol' punkins for decorations! Somehow they have a way of creating such atmosphere and aroma that warms my heart.....kinda like pumpkin pie! Gotta love Pumpkins!

In Florida the pumpkins rot in the heat before I get to really enjoy them! These will stay nice an fresh!
