Crochet Cruise

Recommended Posts

No, I am not going on one. But I wish I was. Anyway, I had to share this with you all. Last night my husband and I were talking about where we would go if we took seperate vacations. He said "somewhere hot". Original hey?!

Well, I said a Crochet Cruise. He laughed and said "they don't really have those do they?".

I said probably they did, and it would be a lot of fun. Well, he couldn't stop laughing. When he could talk again he said if he was on one of those he would throw himself overboard. Then he would yell "Quick, someone crochet me a life jacket."

I said, "Someone probably would make you one...out of "steel wool".

I'd go, and I'm not crazy about taking a cruise. I think they have knitting ones, though I'm not positive. They do have knitting retreats and things so a cruise wouldn't be too much of a stretch. :danc

That's odd, I posted on this thread and it dissapeared.

Or maybe I'm going crazy <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/Loco.gif" />

Anyway, what I was saying, is they do have scrapbooking cruises so a crochet one wouldn't be out of the question!

Where are we going???? <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/lildevil.gif" />

Well ladies, how about somewhere warm...the Caribbean. Or should we go to Alaska, so we can all wear our ponchos, hats and scarves on the deck.

I think we should have Lily Chin demonstrate her beading techniques.

Maybe Chelle could have a course on her jackets, and Beth could teach us felting.

And lets not forget the great food!!!

Okay, I am ready to go!

:hi :rollin :woohoo

OMG ign me up! I went on my first cruise last year and gained 7 lbs in 4 days. If I could crochet and eat like that again, I'd be in heaven. Who cares where we'd go, even if the boat sat in dry dock, just the thought of it--whew

That would be so much fun. All of us together. I have been wanting to get together <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/grouphug.gif" /> with other crocheters but no luck. What a neat idea crochetdiva! :) I saw this a few months back and thought it would be a lot of fun too: CGOA Tour of Ireland. Maybe one day...<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/cloud9.gif" />.

$2600 isn't that much if it includes air/accommodation and most meals/transport. Not that I have :twocents to rub together at the moment but I'd love to combine my two loves: crochet & travel!!!

I never knew such a group existed!!! And the destinations on their itinerary look really fun!

I wish!!
